Step into a beautifully renovated former elementary school, tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Joetsu.
This unique stay lets you experience a full “day at a Japanese school” — with a nostalgic twist.
Enjoy a variety of seasonal, class-themed activities:
For example
- Japanese Class: Calligraphy performance experience
- P.E.: Water balloon fights, snowball fights (winter), and igloo building (winter)
- Home Economics (Cooking): Pressed sushi making, mochi pounding, flowing somen noodles, soba making, and local cuisine
- Culture: Bon dance and Sanbaishi throwing (a traditional rice lid tossing activity)
In the evening, relax with a BBQ on the school playground under the open sky.
After a full day of fun and cultural immersion, unwind in the warm, nostalgic atmosphere of the old school building.

- 7 days or more before the event start date: 30% of the total price
- 1 day before the event start date: 40% of the total price
- On the day of the event: 50% of the total price
- After the event has started or no-show without notice: 100% of the total price
